Newly Designed Piezo Pickup System Provides Acoustic Versatility

The PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo's most exciting feature is its newly designed LR Baggs/PRS Piezo pickup system, which gives musicians the versatility of wielding both acoustic and electric tones in one instrument. Two discrete volume controls (for magnetic and piezo pickups) and two output jacks (labeled "Mix/Piezo" and "Magnetics") allow players to blend the guitar's magnetic and piezo pickups to create a variety of tones. Players can also use the jacks separately, routing the magnetic pickups to an electric guitar amp and the piezo pickup to an acoustic amp or DI into a PA system. When using only the magnetic output jack, the piezo system is bypassed, allowing the PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo to function as a standard hollowbody electric guitar even if the piezo battery has drained.

Maple Top and Mahogany Body Produce a Resonant Tone

Constructed with a maple top, mahogany back and sides, the PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo offers a light shimmer and snap in an attractive Black Gold Burst finish.
